What is PCB?

PCB stands for Printed Circuit Board, generally a flat, thin, rectangular, green fiberglass pieces that have electrical components attached on them.  It mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate,  therefore called as "printed circuit board".

These boards are a part of almost all the electronic we use, as an example, if you open a remote or a cellular phone or another device you’ll discover a green plate there with some silver electronic components, and some linings drawn on them. these are wires that are "printed" on the green glass plate. In applications where fine conductive traces are needed, such as computers, PCBs are used often.


Who designs them?

The PCB designers are usually the electrical engineers or the one who lately got a degree/certification in circuit designing. they may be the key folks in research and development (R&D), electronics production units and within the printed Circuit Board industry. The PCB designer has a variety of responsibilities because the work is keen and calls for attention and accuracy.
